Nature by Raymond A. Foss
The beauty of the ordered world
the turn of the growing leaf
the whisper in the wind
bright sunshine on my face
Touching the wet earth
the peat, or salt water
the rush of senses
in the sight, the sound
the smell, yes the taste
vivid and alluring
So much when I ponder
try to conjure
the meaning of nature
and essence to explain
Fleeting like the gossamer dew
ancient like the mountains
growing like the shoots rising
up from winter’s rest
All a flood of thoughts,
of images, emotions
living on the earth, in nature
each of us part of God’s creation

Nature fits best with my theme. The poet, Raymond A. Foss, explains the beauty of nature and also the momentary part of nature in his poem, "Fleeting like the gossamer dew."
